Did you Know?
Don't feel bad that you can't search for rocks in dirt and stuff, most peoples rocks are from stores and little gift shops. You can still learn a lot about stuff from rocks you buy, just make sure they are not artificial!!

One of the best holders for a beginning rock collection is a plastic fishing tackle box or an embrodiery floss box. You can get either in various sizes, and at reasonable prices. They are easy to label, great for a little bit of cloth or cotton fluff in each compartment and just add your specimens! A great way to properly store your precious collections!
